As listed on this page, Toledo Express (TOL) has always had an average monthly high temperature warmer than Metcalf Field (TDZ), and many of these months TOL has had an average low temperature that is warmer.

In the spring and summer, the afternoon lake breeze may have a cooling effect on Metcalf Field more than Toledo Express. I believe this is the case for less than 40% of spring and summer high temperatures.
